Bobo - Beautiful Bereaved Boxer Mix Seeks Loving Home Urgently in Tampa Area - Please Help
Bobo is such a wonderful boy. He is just 7 years young, very healthy, neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He's brindle in color, and weighs about 65 pounds.
Tragically, Bobo's owner developed serious health issues (cancer) and Bobo ended up in a shelter. A friend has taken Bobo in, but now desperately needs to find this loving boy a forever home - or face eviction due to landlord restrictions preventing her from owning a dog over 25 pounds. The situation is extremely URGENT.
Bobo is a real gentleman. He is mellow in temperament, perfectly house trained and a great kisser. He is well trained and knows quite a few commands. He is good with children and has so much to offer. Just a really great dog.
Please consider offering Bobo a loving, forever home. He has been through a great loss, and really deserves a chance to be loved and cherished by a great family, couple or single dog lover. He will add plenty of love, joy, laughter and companionship to your home.
To make Bobo's holiday wishes for a new home come true, please fill out our adoption form here: http://petprosservic es.com/adopt/ or give Mark a call toll free at 888-9-PETS4U. There is a $50 rehoming/adoption fee. Supplies will be included with Bobo.
Accessories Included: 20LB bag of dog food, 6′ leash, quick release collar, training/pinching collar, plastic food/water bowl, medical paperwork, blanket
Bobo's Personality: Meet a wonderful boy Bobo! I am a 65lb, 7 year old Boxer mix. I'm a sweet, mellow, fun loving boy who loves to give kisses, take walks and to be loved. My foster mom rescued me a few months ago from a shelter, she loves me very much and wants to find me my loving forever home. I am 100% house trained, neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on all of my shots. My foster mom says that I am very well trained and listen to commands. The only thing I want, is to bring joy and pleasure to someone's life and for mine to be comfortable and happy. I am an amazing boy who would be a great addition to your family. Would you give me the home that I have always wanted? I would love to meet you and become part of your family!
Bobo's Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?: Milk bones, Pedigree(hard food) and rawhide bones. I'm most comfortable with blankets and pillows. I also enjoy walks and laying in the sun.
Cute Bobo Story: I've known Bobo since the day of his birth. Despite mom and dad living together at one point, he and mom were raised by a close friend, while I currently possess and own dad. Approximately one year ago, that friend was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and while he did his best to care for mom and Bobo, he ultimately had to give them up.
On September 4, 2014 they were turned over to the SPCA of Tampa Bay in Largo, FL. Upon my discovery of this information on 9/24, understanding the possibility that these compassionate dogs could be euthanized, if not adopted, I drove directly to the facility. Upon my arrival, I was instructed that mom had been adopted, but Bobo was not. They took me to the back to see him and upon eye contact, he became ecstatic. It was apparent he was under distress. Acting out of the goodness of my heart and before thinking the outcome through, I brought Bobo home to my apartment in Indian Rocks Beach to be re-united with dad. Our landlord has a strict no dog over 25 lb policy, but dad was able to convince him into making an exception after meeting him, when we moved in December of last year.
Our landlord just recently came back into town from a trip overseas for a few months with his family. My fiance and I approached him upon his return about the situation. Much to our dis-appointment, his response was unfavorable, to say the least. We offered to pay an additional pet deposit and even additional rent, but to no avail. We were instructed that only (1) dog was permitted on the property and that if (2) were present we would be evicted.
Why is Bobo Being Rehomed? We have (1) dog already and our landlord will not allow us to have (2).
Bobo's Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be: We ultimately want Bobo to end up in a loving, caring home where he will be comfortable and have space to roam. We would also like to be able to stay in touch and periodically visit so we can bring him toys and treats.
Additional Comments: You will fall in love w/Bobo. He will provide joy and happiness in your life. He is an OUTSTANDING companion and protector!!!
