Like so many other interesting and lovable breeds of cats, the Scottish Straight is curious, very devoted, and highly intelligent. This is one cat that loves to be around people. It'll follow you from room to room and will visit you all throughout the day, no matter where you are located in your home.

Interestingly enough, although Scottish Straights enjoy mingling with humans quite a bit, these particular cats don't enjoy being picked up or carried around. While they'll hang out with their families and be there when you search for them, they'd much rather prefer to remain independant from others nearby. They're not clingy, if you will.
