French Bulldogs (Frenchies) are wildly popular here in the United States. They've been an incredible companion pet for centuries. Believe it or not, these "French" Bulldogs actually originated in England as opposed to France. They sort of look like the more traditional English Bulldog, but they're smaller and more people oriented. Folks love this breed due to its friendly and good-natured personality. They love being around their human counterparts and are very affectionate as well. Best of all, French Bulldogs, due to their compact bodies, are well suited for small apartments and houses. They only have a moderate need for exercise, so that's a plus too.
