I’m in Greenville, SC, and my husband takes care of his 90-year-old dad in Canada right now. But we have a Marine nephew (currently laid off from the airlines) who could drive up for me.

Would like to talk about our home and situation and see if you think your sweet Dobe would like to move here. I’m a middle school teacher who had a running partner in the Dobe who recently passed—after 13 years together. He was a rescue from ATL, so he was probably about 15.

Anyway, the Dobe temperament is exactly what I’m comfortable with for companionship and peace of mind.
