Why Was My Post Locked?

I just went to my account to delete a thread because it was sold and a moderator had just locked it 10 minutes before I got to my account.
Can anyone tell me why it was locked? Was it something I did wrong?

Hi,

You didn't do anything wrong. If we see that something has sold and there shouldn't be any further responses, we'll lock the post until the seller can delete it. Your post has been unlocked so you may now delete it.
