Double B Equine Rescue is a horse rescue that's located in Industry, Maine. At any given time, there are approximately 20 horses ready for adoption. Many of these horses have been rescued from sub-par living conditions and have been nurtured back to health.

Double B is a 501c3 non-profit in the state of Maine. It's been rescuing horses since 2006, with rehabilitation it's primary concern. No matter the length of time needed, they'll put the effort in to bring the horse back to health. When it's ready for adoption, they'll advertise it as such. If you'd like to donate to this rescue, you may and your donation is tax deductible. Just speak with the owners about this and they'll let you know what you need to do.

Upon adopting a horse, you'll need to sign a contract that has certain conditions in it. Also, someone will come out to your property to inspect it to make sure it's appropriate for a horse to live.
