Originally purchased as a service dog prospect with the intention of him being a sport dog if he washed.
He washed for service, NO CATS/TINY DOGS- he is way too prey driven and while he hasn’t hurt one yet he has the capacity to.
He also recently showed that he has BCC (border collie collapse syndrome). Anything super exciting like frisbee and fetch he can’t do for more that 5-10 minutes at a time before he has to collapse and relax. It’s not life threatening, but he has to live a more mellow life.
He is a very sweet, loving dog who loves to cuddle up in bed at night. He will play fetch inside (gentle toss) all day if you let him and this is easier on him. We love him very much, but he deserves a life focused more on him!
