Someone didn't do Komo a favor by not house training him as a young dog. He is otherwise a wonderful dog. But with my health issues, plus having to work full time now, I don't have the energy to keep checking and changing his diapers and pee pads and cleaning up his misses. His first 6 years he lived with an elderly woman with limited mobility who trained him to use a pee pad. That can be hit or miss. Then my Dad had him as a companion for 3 years. He was the only dog in a small house, so his peeing wasn't too bad. Now he is in a larger house with another male dog, and he wants to mark often, and he just doesn't get that he's supposed to pee outside. The diaper prevents the marking, but when he wants to really pee he pees around the diaper. He's very companionable. Not a pest, he just wants to be around people. He's great with all other animals and people. He doesn't have any health problems. He does need to be groomed every 4 or 5 months.
