Free Male Dog - Akita/Shepherd Mix

Hi,

I have a Male Akita/Shepard named Vito and will be 2 years old in April. I can not keep him anymore as my husband passed away. Since the passing of my husband he shows some aggression only at certain times when he feels intimidated and will growl. I have a 9 year old grandson and is is very good with him and I have had no problems with him around my grandson. Vito still needs to be Neutered and needs his last sets of shots, I have been unable to get these things done as it is hard for me to get him to a vet. I feel once Vito gets neutered his aggression will be better as the vet explained. He is a Sweet dog, very loyal and loves to go on walks. I would estimate his weight is 90-100 lbs. I can give pictures upon request. I want to give Vito a good home and to be Loved. Vito would most likely do better with being a one person dog and someone who has experience with this type of breed of dog, and can devote time to playing with him and taking him for daily walks. He needs attention and I am too old to give him the attention he needs.
