Dixie is a two-year-old full bred AKC Australian Shepherd. She has not been spayed so she can have puppies, but never has. This is my sister’s dog and she recently went through a separation and can no longer keep Dixie. Dixie needs a home with more room for her to roam and get exercise, she needs a lot of love and attention and would do best as an only dog. She will get along with other dogs, but takes her time to warm up to them. We just feel that her talents and/or personality are not being fully appreciated and we want her to be happy, the space and time we have isn’t adequate due to the new circumstances. We prefer prospective new parents for Dixie to visit her at my sister’s home and meet her to see how things go. Then we can make a decision and talk about the rehoming fee. Dixie comes with her food dish and remaining food. We are asking for a rehoming fee of $200 (it’s negotiable, we just want to make sure she goes to a good home, the right home).
