Riley Needs a Home!
Riley’s folks never came looking for him. No one at the shelter can understand why because Riley is a happy, super sweet boy with a gorgeous coat, and a lot of love to give!
He is approximately 4 - 5 years old and appears to be an ACD mixed with either American Bull Dog or Terrier. He was evaluated by a rescue volunteer from cattle dog rescue and he passed with flying colors! Riley is a big solid guy at 55 lbs. and lovable and clumsy at the same time. He has a solid temperament with zero sign of aggression. A trainer at the shelter is now working with him to teach him more commands so he will be the best pet possible!
Riley is too rambunctious to be in a home with very young kids because he still jumps when excited. He is good with other dogs although he comes on a little too exuberantly at first so a dog will need to be able to handle that. After the introductions he plays nicely.
Riley deserves to get out of the shelter and be in a home with a devoted owner who will give him training, exercise and love so that he can reach his potential. Riley has a lot of potential. All he needs is someone to him a chance.
Riley is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, and heartworm negative.
