- Australian Shepherd
Duck was adopted from a breeder with a described demeanor that didn't end up fitting him. He is an amazing dog! Extremely eager to please, energetic, incredibly smart, and loving. He is crate trained. He has not been permitted to free-roam the home when we are absent. He does well with other dogs and kittens, although he has a tendency to rough house and herd. He does nip, as many aussie's do, but DOES NOT BITE. He WILL chew if not stimulated enough, so please be prepared to provide plenty of toys or bones. Digging is another bad habit he will resort to if not given enough space to roam. He's roughly 44 lbs. UTD on vaccinations until 10/2020, HW negative, on HW and flea and tick preventative, neutered, dew claws and tail entact. He is a 9 month old puppy in need of a home with structure, attention, and a task/job. We recommend a home without infants and with plenty of land, or an active owner. A 2 mile run is nothing to him but a warm up. He is not AKC registered.
