Uno is a 30 year old macaw that has been in my family the past 23 years. He is your typical macaw that demands alot of attention and loves affection. He has taken turns bonding with different members of the family over the years and has eyes only for them at the time. He loves to be scratched under the beak and around his neck. He is typically a loveforone ata time bird. He has maintained very good health and eats whatever we eat in addition to his seed. He loves spaghetti, pizza, bones, grapes, watermelon, and walnut ice cream. He laughs, clicks his beak and has quite a vocabulary when he wants to talk. He will also show off his pretty feathers when commanded. He is seldom locked in his cage except when he has been bad. He loves bathes and to be outdoors. He has limited sight in his right eye. He rules all other animals in his domain. He had 2 previous owners before coming to live with my family. My children are grown and gone and I am not home enough to give him the attention that he demands so is the decision to sell him at this time. Macaws are alot of work and responsibility. They can be loud and obnoxious so it takes someone with the understanding and patience to own them. But they are so loving and dedicated.
