Hi there!
I'm rehoming my sweet puppy, Sampson. He is almost 4 months. Sampson is a Labrador/Australian Shepard Mix. He is tri-colored, but has the short hair like a Lab. He has small, floppy ears like an Aussie. He's absolutely beautiful.
I originally bought Sampson under the pretense that he would be my boyfriend's dog, that I would help him raise. Turns out that my boyfriend didn't realize all the responsibility that came with a puppy and is showing me that he is not a very responsible owner. My puppy, Sasha, gets along with Samspon, but she's my handful and I, as a full-time student and part-time worker, can't handle him and all his puppy-ness, on top of my crazy, insecurely attached Collie!
Sampson has the silliest quirks! He likes to play with tennis balls, his stuffed bunny rabbit and Nyla-bones! He still have puppy teeth and his teething BIG TIME, so watch out, as he likes to chew everything! He likes to speak to us! He also makes the silliest noises when he is amusing himself in his crate at night.
Sampson is crate-trained. He CANNOT be left outside of his crate during the time you are not at home or when you are asleep. He usually fusses for a minute when he goes into his crate, but soon after, he finds a way to entertain himself or sleeps. He's very good at going into crate when asked or when rewarded with a treat.
Sampson needs a backyard to play in, honestly. I live in an apartment with a fenced in dog park, but will soon be moving. He also ADORES children. I've let him around my little cousins (who are 5 and 6) and he is so gentle and sweet to them. It's like he leaves all his puppy biting behind to not scare away the children.
As you can read, Sampson and I have a special bond and I am completely and utterly in love with him...but I don't have time to take care of him and my dog. Like I said, I got him for my boyfriend, who doesn't really take care of him the way he should be taken care of and, overall, he's a handful for me to do this on my own.
If you're interested, Sampson has received all his puppy shots and isn't due back till January. He also comes with a crate, collar and leash (which he will soon grow out of), food bowl, toys and his next round of Heartgard, due August 17th.
