Must sell 21 Mo Filly 500 or MAKE OFFER.. times are tough
I have a lovely QH filly, she is actually 21 months .(no papers). She is very well mannered and eager to learn. I have done ground work with her since the moment we got her and she is a willing quick learner. She only requires a
soft handler...nothing rough. I have had NO problems with leading, tying, tethering, loading, trailering, washing, sprayin g, or lunging She takes a bit, and saddle really well- i free lunge her without a line- and with,
and she stands still without a lead to be saddled, but is too young to ride at this point. My daughter has mounted her,and other than being a bit confused at first, she didnt seem to mind as she rode a
couple times around the lunge pen.Everthing i introduce her to thats new, she is cautious but then accepts it very openly. She is very intelligent.I have never seen her crib once. She is sound and has
great feet, stands for the farrier very well. She knows how to back as well. She is an easy keeper too. Just a scoop of Omelene morning and night, along with all the hay she wants. She is going to be
a big girl- she is approx 14 hands now and has much growing to do over the next 3yrs..She will be excellent for any discipline
you choose, she is fast, and can cut and turn on a dime- good for team penning or calf roping? i have never seen her jump as of yet- i am sure once she is introduced to that she would find it enjoyable.
I have been acclimating her to all types of things to teach her no fear- she has been exposed to dogs, tractors, cars,i rub a whip all over her, handle her ears, pull on her tail... and she has become
confident i will not hurt her. I have even been training her to stand "in a box"for halter class.
Of course she hasn't been out on a trail yet. I have her alone right now- but a neighbor rode by on her horse- I had mine out free ranging in our unfenced yard (she doesn't bolt off or run away)
She approached the other horse, smelled noses and just stood there quietly while we talked. She didn't get excited or crazy around the other horse at all- and she didn't follow off after her either.
She just went back to grazing. So i believe she will be a very well behaved girl around other horses on the trail or arena.
She needs her coggins- i do not have a trailer to take her... (she is wet in the second photo...)
