Hi I am giving away a 16 month old female grey cockatiel. She is absolutley gorgeous and playfull. She is not a boring bird by any means, he loves toys and leeps her slef entertained by climbing all around the cage, she likes to hang upside down and swing, she is a nut, The problem is we have 2. We got her in late feb of 2010 from our local pet shop. Well after about 2 month we took her in to get her wings clipped and she was doing her chirping being all adorable like she always does when she heard another tiel. Her mohawk flies up (like when a dog or cats ears perk up when they hear something that interests them) and all of a sudden the singing One of the staff told us that they were brother and sister.Well it was the cutest thing ever but we couldnt affor to bring the other tiel home so when we left both birds just looke broken hearted. Well about a week later we are in the same shop buyhing her some toys and treat sticks when we see one of the staff that knows us pretty well and she came over and told us that they were in the same cage for a few months before we bought her and that he was a couple years older and was not infact her nrother but they had grown fond of eachother. Well since he was there for a while they had a deal where you can buy him and a huge cage for like half of whatg we paid for her so we did it and brought him home. It was good for a while but a few months in they gre so attached that we can't even take one out of the cage without them shrieking and crying for eachother. So now we are in the position where we cant trake them out and interact with them the way we should. We decided to give her up becasue she is the friendlier of the two and it would be easier to find a home for her than for him, plus my wife formed a special bond with him. So her name is squeaky cheeks and she is free to a good home in CT. You must be a 'bird person' as every pet owner does not have the knack or patience to deal with birds, but what a reward it is if you do). You must also already have a cage, I will give you some of her favorite toys. Email me at silentclerk@gmail.com or text me at 203-503-4472 I will not answer a ohine call that I don;t reconize the # so text or email first please. Thanks Also email me for pics.
