I have a 2 year old show quality buck from heavy milking lines for sale. This buck would make an excellent herd sire for someone wanting proven milk production or good show potential. In his pedigree, of the 14 of his direct ancestors, 10 were star milkers (indicated with * or +). His dam was never milked so I do not know how much she would have produced. His granddam and great granddam were on the DHIR program. As a 2 year old, the grand dam averaged nearly 9 pounds a day over 296 days and his great granddam averaged over 10 pounds a day for 300 days during her 2nd and 3rd lactations - later lactations were not recorded.
He was our herd sire for the last two years and has produced very nice doelings and bucks. I have included a picture of one doeling with his pictures We can't breed him to his own get so we are selling him. He has an easy going personality and is good around people.
