The rare and beautiful Havana Brown cat is highly sought after for its stunning tobacco brown coat with mesmerizing green eyes.

The Havana Brown is a moderately active cat who loves to be with its owner. While not wild or bashful, it is also not typically a lap cat, despite its need to frequently touch you and sleep beside you.

Not normally extremely talkative the Havana Brown likes to converse when engaged and has been known to give lengthy speeches about the lack of 'mousework' and may become quite verbose when commenting about food.

This is not a breed that does well when left alone, preferring to come along and meet the neighbors. They quickly learn to walk on a lead (harness) and love to go for rides in the car. They prefer not to be solitary pets but to have a furry playmate. Most cats like company and the Havana is no exception. They also do well with dogs, especially when introduced as kittens.

There are only a handful of Havana Brown breeders in the USA and even fewer who have a long history of providing exceptional kittens with documented pedigrees cats and kittens who have come from National and Regional winning ancestors. Because of the rarity of the breed, it is not uncommon to have to wait 6 months to a year to get a preferred *** kitten. Be prepared fill out an application and to provide references before you are even considered a potential buyer.
